All About Me

Over a decade ago, I made the conscious and independent decision to dedicate my life to the arts, to being a hungry and curious human. This flowed through me naturally by way of music and theater. I joined local theater companies like Bishop Arts Theater and CrossOver Arts to carry out summer and winter productions starting at age 12. At the same time, played in a neo-jazz collective in middle school and went on to become a founding member of a band in Dallas, TX with friends, and continued to play for churches in the greater Dallas area until graduating Booker T. Washington HSPVA for Theater. There, I participated in AMDA's Acting for Camera Intensive in NYC led by Harry O'Reilly, and The Dallas Theater Center's Skokos Acting Lab, led by members of the Brierley Residential Acting Company. Additionally, I received high regards in various national acting competitions during this time including, but not limited to NAACP's ACT-SO Competition, and The National YoungArts Foundation.

Immediately after graduating high school, I travelled to Westchester, New York to receive my BFA in Acting from the Conservatory of Theater Arts @ SUNY Purchase. Having spent 2 years at home dealing with the onset and blowback of COVID, I am blessed to be able to say I made it out, not unscathed, but with my dignity intact, wiser, and more resilient. I now reside in Brooklyn, NY, thriving, by any means necessary.
